Physical practices that methodically guides the mind inwards. 

We open areas of the body that by poor posture and sitting for long periods of time store tension and tightness. 

So on one hand they improve the breathing, increase body awareness, strengthens the immune system.

On the other they reduce stress and calm the mind.

Mental focus & balance program

Most of us, at least initially, show up on the yoga mat for the poses. But the poses can only take us so far. As soon as we step off the mat, nothing has changed on a deeper level. The kick is gone, and we once again look for the next short lived rush.

In a moment of stress, anxiety, worry or maybe just lack of enthusiasm and motivation, being flexible will not help. But knowing how to shape your breath, bringing the nervous system back into a balanced state and drawing the mind into stillness, will.

Aim of the program:

The idea is to teach you techniques and methods to handle different situations at work, meeting challenges from a place of emotional and mental stillness, and to avoid bringing an agitated mind to your workplace.

Structure:

60 minutes classes, one class a week, 8 weeks in total.

We practice:

  • Poses to develop a sense of physical stability and softness.
  • Breathing techniques to bring the nervous system back to balance. 
  • Meditation to center and sharpen the mind.

Mindfulness at work
